BONOBO, 2014
Swampland and seasonally inundated
forest patches constitute the main parts of the landscape.
Remote villages engaged in slash-and-burn agriculture are found in the drier areas.
After dusk we hear strange, nocturnal sounds while we are suspended in hammocks over ant nests.
The enigmatic animal the series refers to remained unsighted during the trip.
